Oddly, Grammarly's suggestions that come in the form of "do you wan to soften your tone" serve this kind of function, so perhaps that will be of use to your fast fingers? :-) It's helped me on more than one occasion. As has the lesson my mom taught me as a schoolgirl passing notes to her girlfriends in the 70s: "Don't put anything in writing you don't want to see on the front page of the Cleveland Plain Dealer." ;-)
Ouch. :) Having made my own email sending errors (in my case more around confusing the subject of my email with someone else with a big platform), I can relate.
I love good mistakes - invention is a good mistake too / you might not of gotten the money otherwise too
sometimes like in Paris "stepping in shit on the sidewalk is good luck" before the pooper scooper's were a thing - dogs shit on the sidewalk back in the day because the street sweepers revolted at dog shit in their territory too -
what does dog shit and stepping in shit have to do with the knitting factory - I stepped in shit when I stumbled on opening night at Houston Street Knitting Factory - thinking to myself none of the serious jazz musicians and audience would lower them selves to come to lower mad-hattan - and now most of the old timers have faded into the dream and the Knitting Factory has spread its wings - keep making good mistakes - you gotta make a lot of mistakes before you make a good one
Did you guys see this? Wow, Michael is quite a dipshit. Most of his emails suck anyway, but that was just utterly stupid!
Did you read my essay on "Kind Candor" ? Thank goodness I know how brilliant you are:)

Oops. Meant to send that to someone else.
