Ford Mustang EV significantly better EV sir, for your next lease. Probably the best Ford ever built. I’m not a fan of Ford after my Ranger experience. But the EV mustang is awesome. However I prefer all Subaru products in general. Waiting for them to catch up in the EV universe…. But EVs still get most of their electricity sourced from: natural gas (40%), coal (16%); renewables only 22%; nuclear 19%, and 1% biofuels. It is something though. We need to get renewables way up for EVs to make a real difference. Here is some truth about Musk: he is not a genius. He didn’t invent any of the technology. He bought it. Just like he bought the Presidency. This continues to be another difficult Passover with Dictators running the world and oligarchs pushing to make another Roman Empire only for the good of themselves. But for what? It and their riches won’t last. History repeating itself in so many ways. We are past the point of fixing man-made climate change (overuse and accelerated use of fossil fuels) so another biblical world-wide flood is coming too; actually it has started. Even the oligarchs can’t escape it. Mars is not terraformed yet. I’ve read some others that believe (despite no evidence) that Martians came to Earth after they destroyed their civilization and genetically modified our ancestors to create us; and they merged with us. Perhaps we are those Martians replicating our history. This would make a good story, but maybe Arthur C. Clarke already wrote it. With all that goes on, we are just a hostile species with a selfish gene. We could have a heaven on Earth, yet choose to be in constant war. The Earth will survive, our species won’t, and life will spring up again. Hopefully it will go better next time for the future inhabitants.
Good morning Michael Dorf. Oddly, I opened my laptop before rolling into the kitchen for my Sunday morning ritual cappuccino and found you instead. Maybe you are this morning's appetizer.
Being a child of the '60's I find these times sadly more upsetting than the era of the Vietnam War, the fight for civil rights, the ERA, etc. since we are witnessing the desecration of the good we and our American brethren established. Hitler burned the books and Trump is doing the same by banning them and demonizing the content.. is there a difference?
I remember the Weather Underground, The Black Panthers, SDS, CORE, and the many other organizations that WE formed to voice our protest wether by planting bombs, protesting in the streets, sit-ins, BUT I am not comfortable with rage being focused on Tesla and other symbolic easy targets. All that does is to serve the radical 'Republican' right's purposes to undermine the democracy we value.
There must be better ways to turn the ship around before it knocks the Statue Of Liberty over. The Rupert Perry the (British) VP of A&R I reported to at Capitol Records once said, "Garfield, always remember that big ships don't turn around quickly". My response was, "Isn't that why GOD invented tug boats?".
Sedars are important reminders of what love for others feels like, good purpose and soul, bonding and the self-made struggles mankind has created, and as it manifests itself today.
I will be attending your Sedar of the mind. You are a mensch Michael... I love Patti Smith and...
Your buddy from The Bronx (now thriving Columbus) - Bruce Garfield
Mr. Dorf, thank you for this. Patti Smith has meant everything to my foundational self since I bought “Horses” and played it over & over, listening in my bedroom in rural Virginia. Learned about the concert tonight as I walked off the train today in NYC.
Cannot wait! I didn’t get my annual Patti fix because she didn’t do her annual NYC birthday set last December. So happy I will be there for the celebration of this incredible artist!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
> I still drive a Tesla, the best EV car on market
There is just no doubt that this just sends a horrible message at this point in our history. Maybe not as horrible a message a bombing ANYthing, but a horrible message nonetheless. I BELIEVE they're the best EVs on the market, so I kind of get it... but not really, not right now.
Well Michael their is a rambling lyrics in them thar words of yours about the state of statelessness we are grappling with -
which begs the question are we lemmings?
And how do we disconnect, connect, engage and disengage in a time of fear and foreboding -
while the dick-tification by dick-head dictators and PerpeTraitors are steering as our ship of fools, goes along to get-along,
while playing "when the saints come marching in, I want to be in that numbers game"
while we the people follow the leader, back, back, back in time to the dark ages too - singing, "what are we going to do with the (power) drunken sailors"

Well said, Brother Michael
